The world is dying and the only promise of salvation remains tucked inside a mysterious tower. It is up to a small group of explorers to dive deep into the submerged relic of a forgotten age to hopefully loot the needed funds and knowledge required to survive. Utilizing a set of skills and the power to slow time, the group can fight off unholy horrors with careful positioning. Outside they can spend their new found riches to level up or craft new gear using shards found in the tower. New comrades await the team as word reaches other races of the tower and hopefully with their efforts, the world can be saved.
Visuals are typical fantasy inspirations with some nicely crafted particle effects to give spells some added flare. Music selection is rather limited, sadly, but the small amount of lore I managed to ingest kept me interested enough to tolerate it. Controls are accurate, combat is engaging and the level up system makes the difficulty fairly balanced with the inclusion of repeatable challenges. I cannot comment on the total length just yet, but I have to give credit to Event Horizon for keeping the bugs to a bare minimum. This is shaping up to be another happy surprise for me, so keep watching for the curation for my final verdict once I reach the end of the available content.
