TowerFall Ascension Gameplay - Dark World Quests Part 5 (Solo Run + Legendary Difficulty)
0It took me a bunch of tries, but I beat Dark Gauntlet on Legendary Difficulty. And, what is better, I realized I can do it while having some of the game's Curses active. I chose two of them, Small Quiver and No Treasure, which I deemed the least limiting of the six available. The former reduces to three the maximum Arrows your Archer can carry, and the latter prevents Chests from spawning. The up side about failing a bunch of times before winning this Boss Rush, is that you can learn their attack patterns and counterattack more effectively, although The Blind Lich is a total pain because, if its blocks happen to crush you, they ignore the invulnerability frames and keep killing you ruthlessly; and Cataclysm with its two-phase fight really punishes every wrong step. Still, I couldn't find a way to avoid death in the Lava part of Cataclysm, so I had to watch a video to find out the trick. Next time, I'll know what to do if I run out of lives again in that part.
And yes, it happened again. I was too close to the 2-hour mark, so I stopped the clip and intended to paste the continuation later, but I lost, so I scrapped the other clip. Sorry for the abrupt ending.
