At first, I thought this was a gimmick toy. Then later figured out how to get it to work and its pretty awesome once you know how to do it.

The handle acts as a magnet while the top and bottom poles of the gyroscope are circling the outside rings of the handle.

1. Line up the two poles evenly so the gyro can move.
2. Get a feel of how to circulate the gyro with slow momentum by rotating your hand while slightly tilting the handle for the momentum to grow.
3. Gradually add more and more speed to the rotating and slight tilting and eventually the gyro will detach and SHOOOOM onto the floor.
4. Another thing is if the two poles keep getting crooked switch the handle or pole positions for possibly better alignment.
5. Plus DO NOT bend the handle rods with too much force. It will ruin the rotation flow. I had to straighten mine out a bit.

Found this toy at Walmart. I think its exclusive.
