TOYOTA ARISTO. Gran Turismo on PPSSPP - Time trial #62
Don't be fooled by its looks; this Toyota (or Lexus, depending on where you lived at the time) sedan actually packs quite a punch, thanks in part to its engine, which was basically the same one that the A80 Supra used.

[Description (based in-game)]
*The Toyota Aristo V300 was sold as the Lexus GS 300 in the US.
By the time the second-generation Aristo made its appearance in 1997, the car had already become one of the most popular FR (Front engine, Rear drive) sedans in Japan. This time around, however, Toyota opted not to employ the services of Giugiaro and his design firm, Italdesign, and instead styled the car on its own.
Toyota went with the same powerplants as in the previous model. The engine of choice was the turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 that pumped out 206 kW and 450.8 Nm of torque. The naturally-aspirated variant came with 169 kW and 303.8 Nm of torque. Both versions featured Toyota's innovative valve-timing technology, VVT-i. For the US, Toyota maximized the Aristo's potential by equipping it with a 4.0-liter DOHC V-8 (UZ series) that produced 218 kW and 419.4 Nm of torque. This V-8 got a bump in displacement in 2001 to 4.3 liters, changing its designation from GS 400 to GS 430.
Shifting was performed via a 4-speed automatic transmission, but in July 2000, Toyota incorporated a smooth-shifting 5-speed auto. Also, the car boasted new technology, including VDC (Vehicle Dynamic Control). While the new Aristo retained the cornering prowess of the original, it displayed an even better ride quality, thanks in part to a longer wheelbase of 2800 mm. In August 2005, as the Lexus brand arrived in Japan, the car became known all over the world as the GS.
