Trace Memory is an adventure game where you explore an island solving mysteries in both the past and the present.
Developed by Cing and released for the Nintendo DS in 2005, this game puts you in the shoes of Ashley, a young teenager from Seattle. Ashley's parents tragically died in 1994 on her 3rd birthday...at least thats what she thought. Just before she turns for 14, she receives a message from her father that he is still alive and hiding out on Blood Edward Island. Armed with a very familiar-looking gadget, Ashley and her Aunt Jessica sail to Blood Edward Island to get to the bottom of this mystery.
Shortly after arriving, Ashley runs into a ghost known only as D, a young boy who died in the 1940s and can't remember anything save for the last thing he saw, the image of a hand, which is imprinted on his chest.
Why was Ashley's father hiding all these years? Could her mother be alive too? What were the circumstances of D's death? Find out the answer to these questions and more in Trace Memory!
