Train Sim World 4 - Fact Controller Part 2 4K and MPH Gauge issues?
4No Music.. No Talking... The Fact Controller Part 2... TSW4 East Coast Main Line: Peterborough - Doncaster and 1070GPU running at 4K, med. settings.. A TSW4 Flying Scotsman route, well at least the second half thru, for the most part... feel of speed disappears.. MPH Gauge is a mess... Let me explain.. first off.. I have seen other videos with this route working just fine.. so take it with a grain of salt.. My CPU is 4.8ghz but shows 4.3ghz during the game, staying in the 40-50% use usually, no issues there. The GPU stayed 88c (ran it this hot for the last 5 years or so) and 95% usage most the time with very few spikes.. had a few times dipping into the 40'sh fps but for the most part remained in the high 50's to 60's just fine at 4K, unless I spin my view around like a madman, as expected.
Then something odd happened.. about 28 (28:00) minutes in, I pull to a side track to allow a train to pass.. from then on, till near the finish.. my sound and my MPH is a mess.. the gauge will show speeds up to 80 mph which I can not be doing and I can obviously tell I am some place in the 20'ish mph range... Just pressing the regulator up or down, the MPH Gauge would instantly move 20 mph one way or the other.. I tried everything to fix this that I could think of.. did I miss something? last 5 minutes or so, all went back to normal.. What the heck.. got me! But frustrated, I quit recording before this.. I also had an issue with light reflection on the MPH Gauge.. which I fixed by putting view key 2 inside the cab and behind the driver.. which as a side effect, shows the nice lean of the cabin.. anyways.. here is part 2 4K for what it is worth.. nada.. BTW, I still had browsers open and other programs running in the background I forgot to close, plus the recording software. lots going on and the 1070 to me is still a trooper.. just past it's prime.. like me..:-)
I really enjoy v4, which "obviously" has some bugs.. I am sure they will fix them.. eventually.. Just keep moving on down the rail... System: CPU 8700K 4.8ghz, GPU GTX1070, 32GB RAM.
