Today we are on the very first piece of DLC I bought for Train Simulator. This is the Isle of Wight add-on, which I acquired in December 2013. Yes, I have been playing TS for over five years.

This is a southbound run down the eastern side of the Isle of Wight, going from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin, a distance of 8.5 miles. Our traction for this run is a Class 483, which is actually modified ex-London Underground 1938 stock. Along the way we stop at the following stations:

Ryde Esplanade
Ryde St. John's Road
Smallbrook Junction
Brading
Sandown
Lake
Shanklin

The Isle of Wight is one of only two routes I can drive without using the HUD (Heads Up Display). The other one being the branch line from Witham to Braintree, which is in Essex.
