This is a special run into New York City to honor the people who tragically fell victim to the attacks of September the 11th, 2001. Today marks 18 years since this event.

This is yet another run in Timetable Mode, with our traction being the only train included with the Long Island route - the Bombardier M7. Why did DTG not include any other LIRR motive power?

Anyway, we start our run at Belmont Park station. This is a seasonal-use station location at the end of a short spur from Queens Village, which is around 3 miles east of Jamaica.

This run will see us go from Belmont Park to New York Penn, otherwise known simply as Penn Station. Along the we stop at Jamaica and Woodside. Once at Penn station, we have to move the train into the sidings at West Side Yard.

In real life the West Side Yard should be packed full of stabled trains. Unfortunately the routes in TSW tend to be very devoid of trains, especially in yards that are supposed to be busy.
