Today I thought I would return to the classic Phorum Peninsula route. The reason for driving on a narrow-gauge line is because I got a comment on the Blue Pullman video asking for me to show more narrow-gauge routes. I do plan on recording a video on the Corris Railway soon, to go alongside this one.

In this video, I take the Ffestiniog Railway's Taliesin - an 0-4-4 single-fairlie - from Phorum Pier to Gray's Point, before returning to Martin's Halt for refuelling. Also seen is the Caledonian Railway 4-2-2 No. 123 - albeit in LMS lined black with the number 14010.

The Phorum Peninsula was available on Steam several years ago, and was part of a charity project where the makers of the route were set a challenge of making a route in just 24 hours. If that's the case, they did a great job.

Sadly the route was discontinued around 4 or 5 years ago. One of the reasons I chose to drive on this route is because I want people who didn't manage to get this route before it was discontinued to see what it looks like.

Thank you for watching, and I hope you enjoy the video!
