Today we're having a look at a Japanese route, which is something I rarely ever do. This one focuses on a small part of the commuter rail system in the Nara Prefecture.

For this run we are taking the JR West 103 series unit over the 9.58 kilometre section from Sakurai to Takada, stopping at Kaguyama, Unebi and Kanahasi on the way. Interestingly this scenario features announcements read in Japanese.

I know barely anything about the conventional lines in Japan, apart from the fact that they use 3ft 6inch gauge track, just like New Zealand.
