TRAITOR LORD & OTHERS | Let's play Hollow Knight - #32
3Backtracking for some of the stuff we missed, we find the Traitor Lord in the Queen's Garden and from there we get the first puzzle piece to access the White Palace... one half of the White Fragment. Then we continue gathering Pale ore and Dream Essence.
The Traitor Lord is a main boss in Hollow Knight. He blocks the path to the White Lady in the Queen's Gardens.
The Traitor Lord can be found in a large building on the upper border of the gardens' wilds. When the Knight enters the place, they are first ambushed by Mantis Traitors, with the Traitor Lord jumping down from the ceiling thereafter. If the Knight rescued Cloth from the Ancient Basin, she joins the fight before his appearance. In doing so, she is impaled by the Traitor Lord at the end of the fight. However, she also takes one last swipe with her club, bashing him on the head and leaving both dead.
If the Traitor Lord dies from the Knight alone, the Infection bursts out of him and makes him explode. If Cloth kills him, less Infection bursts out and his husk collapses on the ground, his face and right horn shattered.
Nosk is a hidden boss in Hollow Knight. Its defeat is rewarded by one of the rare Pale Ores. Godmaster content Winged Nosk is its flying form.
When first encountered in Deepnest, Nosk looks exactly like the Knight. It can first be seen in an unreachable location before the long drop to the area's Hot Spring. After this, it can only be encountered in the hidden maze of tunnels leading to its lair. There it appears in several places and disappears before the Knight reaches it.
The way to Nosk's lair is littered with various dead bugs, their thoughts hinting at the creature's treachery. In the last tunnel, barriers of organic matter close one after another behind the Knight. Once reaching its lair, Nosk reveals its true form through a grotesque transformation, before roaring and beginning the fight.
When defeated, Infection bursts out of Nosk making it explode. It leaves behind only its counterfeit shell amidst puddles of Infection. The Knight can then collect a Pale Ore from a fossil in a cave further along.
Markoth's spirit appears above his corpse after acquiring the Dream Nail. He sees the Knight as yet another meddling warrior and dares them to draw their Nail. Only after his first (and supposedly only) defeat, does Markoth notice the presence of his own corpse beside him, long forgotten. He claims that nothing ever had hold over him until the Knight.Through this, the spirit then sees the Knight as the darkness that has come to consume him, before shattering into 250 Essence to be collected by the Dream Nail.
