Welcome to transferring ROMS for Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, and Sega Master System to our RetroPie V4.7.1! In this video, we go over what file types, folder location, and how to use WINSCP. There are several ways to transfer ROMS to your RetroPie, however I find this way the easiest. The other two methods are covered in another video I have done:

After this, and as long as you have a SNES style controller with L & R buttons (could be a newer style controller with two L & R buttons), you are off to the races playing 4 of the most iconic video game systems ever created. Just think about where we would be without these two systems, and the rivalry between Sega and Nintendo.

RetroPie is a great way to run multiple emulators: Atari 800, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, 3DO, Amiga, Apple II, Atari Lynx, Atari Jaguar, Atari ST-SEE-TT-Falcon, CoCo, Colecovision, Commodore 64/VIX-20/PET, Daphne, Dragon, Dreamcast, Famicom Disk System (FDS), Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, GameCube, Game Gear, Game & Watch, Genesis/MegaDrive, Intellivision. Love, Macintosh, Sega Master System, MSX, NEC PC8800 & PC9800, Neo Geo, Neo Geo Pocket, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Nintendo 64 (N64) Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) OpenBOR, Oric, PC Engine/TurboGrafx16 (and CD), PlayStation, PS1, PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, PS2, PSP, Sega Saturn, Sega 32X, Sega CD, Sharp X1, Sharp X68000, SG 1000, Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), Thomson MO/TO TI-99, TRS-80. Vectrex, Virtual Boy, Wii, WonderSwan, WonderSwan Color, Zmachine, and ZX Spectrum! Themes range from Classic gaming system themes, to Modern system themes (Think Nintendo Switch), and even have movie and tv show themes!
