Float alignment allows for an easy way to transport concrete powder, minecarts, and many other entities straight up by being bounced by the slime block directly next to them.

This is extremely useful for minecart elevators, and could also make for a much faster way to transport concrete powder upwards, like in the map printer that @MrKorwaldski made a few months ago.
