I never would have expected it to be possible for myself to mod Until Dawn. Generally I thought it possible due to it being remade in Unreal Engine 5 for PS5 and PC.
And now... after modding The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry I actually managed to port one of my Dark Pictures-Mods over to Until Dawn.
Starting with, yes, you guessed it, The Trapper.
It's sort of a tradition that whatever game I am modding, he is either my first modding project or the next one.
However due to UE5 being different than UE4, my way of modding the game is practically the same but the method of packaging the mod is different.
Previously I used a modified version of UnrealPak from FluffyQuack to pack my UE4 Mods. Now I have to build the mod from the Editor itself, which can be convienient but will prevent me from including material changes and such, should I learn to modify them for UE5.
My possibilities of modding the game therefore are slightly limited than before on UE4. In time this may change of course.
