At the moment upon entering the Cafeteria without knowing what would happen next, there was no option which would guarantee my survival. Baldloons could enter at any second from the other 2 entrances. In my situation, there were none that would enter from the other yellow doors (except for possibly the Baldloon in the hallway). If I went down the hallway with Detention, I could have possibly survived, but there was no way of knowing. Instead, I did the 2nd best thing. However, the slowest Baldloon happened to be there (wow!) and I died.

The reason those 2 Baldloons were in the west hallway is because they saw me through a window and then I locked them behind the yellow doors.
