For some reason I haven't tried recording a footage from a game that was launched with a Swap Magic disc. One of SM's good points that it has an option to force said game's resolution into PAL of NTSC format. And since I'm from Europe, I can't record anything in NTSC, so for recording porpuses the PAL is the key. However even SM can't convert correctly: it places a black border in order to run the game. For some cases it's not that bad, but in others it's just pain in the arse.

For the game itself, it's a fairly decent shoot'em up game, with a mixed style of mecha and moe. This means of you want to keep your ears healthy, you should lower the characters voice volume as much as possible. I set it to 32 myself, but even the volume 99 music can't cover this mess. The difficulity is rising with each passing level, so the first stage is the easiest one in the bunch, and in addition, you can mess with the boss here. You see, if you drop an enemy to the boss right before it's HP starts to fill, the dropped enemy will kill the boss that has a very small HP at the second of the impact. It's easier to do this in arcade mode, simply because the story mode's dialogues are forcing the game to stop, which can brake your timing a little apart. And speaking of story mode: some games simply doesn't need story at all, and this game is a prime example for this. Each characters intro takes approximetly 6 (yes, six) minutes, not to mention the randomly choosed character portraits and in-game voice segments that breaks the flow of the game.
