The final part of the AC route. In this part the last (alien-infected) stage is the only AC-specific stage. The stage itself is quite tricky, but the sub-bosses are a complete joke. The first one didn't even attacked me, so it's safe to say that fight was a little laughing matter. The second one at least used it's arm (once...), but still piece of cake. The third can be hard a little, but even after a little practice, anyone can defeat it. The Mother Alien/Red Falcon combo however is hard a to take it without getting hit. The Mother Alien, that is. Red Falcon would have been a no-hit fight, but I have a bad habit in boss fights to forget about things I already know. That fairly idiotic hit was a very good example for this.

The video's very first boss, with the exception of the bouncing laser part, is a pushover. If you know when NOT to shoot it, it's easy as hell. In other words, it's more tricky than hard. That is why I consider the HP bar a good thing: you can learn about these things without getting Game Over all the time. Mandrake's combining machine is a mixed bag: if you have the correct weapons, most of them didn't even have a chance to attack you, but if you don't, they can be challenging a little. The same goes for the final creature, you can trash it with penetrative weapons, but without them, you have to stay right beside the core, and slide away when it attacks. By the way: Mandrake looks a LOT like Dr. Wily (ahem, Wahwee), so getting him bit the dust is a beholder to the eye. :D

The next part will consists on the AD route, which has only one stage, and the game's second to worst ending. I like to call the AC ending "Neutral": the aliens were killed off, but Bahamut escaped. If Konami would make a sequel to this game, they propably will use this ending as reference.
