Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024) "REVIEW"

Let's start with the fact that wise scientists, who take care of Godzilla and Kong, didn't know that there's another civilization living underground, controlling gravity. By the way, the whole idea of the Hollow Earth was shamelessly borrowed from "The Unknown Island," where life also happens inside, not on the surface, though without any Godzillas. As for the scientists, their intelligence and even basic survival instinct shine when they wander through the underground forest, not fearing anything. Even when a predatory tree eats one of the group members, the rest continue on unfazed ("Oh well, too bad for the guy, but whatever..."), carrying on as if nothing happened. carrying on as if nothing happened. Of course, the "meat-eating" plants won't touch them; they need them to reach the end of the movie, especially since they have a child with them.
Watching the fight scenes between the main characters, it's best to just sit back and enjoy without thinking too hard. Why worry about how Godzilla managed to snack on radiation in the Arctic and then go on a romantic date with Kong near Egyptian pyramids? Or how they quickly travel from one place to another, like magically appearing in Brazil after diving underground? There are so many Kongs in the movie that it's puzzling how they all fit in without ever showing up above ground. Only our Kong gets special treatment. Oh, and he needs to see a dentist too...
