Gerarbox boss Randy Pitchford has confirmed that Borderlands 3 won't feature microtransactions or paid-for loot boxes, beyond premium cosmetic items. Apparently, there won't be anything you can purchase via a microtransaction that affects gameplay.

First up is the Deluxe Edition, which will retail for $79.99 and includes a copy of the game plus the following digital goodies:

"Toy Box Weapon Pack: 2 Toy guns, Toy Grenade mod, weapon trinket
XP & Loot Drop Boost Mods"
