Trying Atari Arcade 2 (Part 1) [Evercade #269]

Well, since this cart was announced I have been very excited for it. It looked overall just so much better than Atari Arcade 1.
And so far...it definitely seems that way! :D
Fire Truck definitely feels like the in-between stage of old Atari arcade vs what I would consider a prototypical "arcade" game. It is more complex than, say, Canyon Bomber or Skydiver, but not as complex as something like Liberator or even some of the Data East Arcade 2 games.
I like Fire Truck, though. It's simple and short enough that you want to get better at it and it's not too annoying or "cheap" feeling (if you were spending real quarters).
Berzerk is great fun. This is a game I know that I will be coming back to every now and then for a play because it is *fun*!
Maze Invaders is interesting. On one hand, I really like the chaos in it with the different hazards. I just wish the controls were better; the shooting is not smooth and it feels like I have to struggle to aim and shoot properly. It's an overall fun game, but I can't help but feel a little let-down too. :/
Still, all 3 games are fun to play! This was a great starts to a collection that I was looking forward too a lot and I am excited to continue trying the games on here! ;)
