I've heard of a few of the games on this cart, but never played any of them. This was a good one to pair-release with Delphine, I think.
Aero the Acro-Bat is a decent platformer. The controls take some time to get used to, and it took me *way* too long to figure out the objective in Stage 1. In typical Sunsoft fasion (as I will come to learn in this and the next video), it is difficult. But also in typical Sunsoft fasion, it has good music! :D
But it is just an alright platformer. In my opinion, Mr. Gimmick or Jason should have been mascotting the cart, not Aero.
Arabian is a sleeper hit on this cart. It's pretty addictive. The music is annoyingly catchy, too! xD
My only issue with Arabian is that Page 3 is a bit of a mess. The graphics don't mix well with the actual stage design and it looks pretty bad.
Blaster Master is pretty cool, and - typical Sunsoft - it's insanely hard! The music is great, and the controls are relatively fluid (maybe a little too slippery, even), and it has a large, interconnected map. I'm excited to play through this one!
Overall, pretty cool cart so far. I'm excited for the second half of this cart! :D
