The November 2023 Game of the Month is here!
And it's by Lowtek Games again, whom we love here on this channel! Flea! and Tapeworm have both been great, and so far, this is no exception!
I didn't get too far into the game in this Let's Try, but that's because the puzzles are pretty well-designed, even early on. That is one problem I had with Tapeworm, is that it was a bit too easy (exceptfor the 'multiplayer' levels which were a good difficulty).
But this game's difficulty scales pretty well so far. And you don't seem to have to collect everything to continue to the next stage. I don't know if there is a better ending or something if you do, but the fun of the game is to collect them, I think.
And the music is really good so far too! That's another think about Lowtek Games' titles that I look forward to, is the music!
So yeah, I'm very happy with this Game of the Month! This will definitely be a standout on the Indie Heroes 3 cartridge, for sure. :D
Next month is the last Game of the Month for 2023 before the cart release, I believe. I wonder how it'll do. We've had a mixed bag of games for GotM this year, so I hope we end off with something really good (unlike last year's which was Gelatinous, if I recall correctly).
