Trying Team17 Collection 1 (Part 3) [Evercade #145]

Eh, this is probably the weakest set from this cart, I think.
Alien Breed: Tower Assault sounds cool, but it played really boring. Maybe I was doing something wrong, but there weren't even any aliens for the amount of time I played and I ended up getting a game over many screens in too. I don't know - it was pretty boring to me.
ATR is probaby a fun-enough game if you take the time and learn it. But I don't really have the intention to; racing games aren't my favorite and unless it's a Cadey's Challenge game, I don't really see myself coming back to this much/at all, frankly.
The driving on it is just too imprecise for a D-Pad like Evercade's; maybe an original keyboard/joystick would feel better but I don't know, something feels off with this one.
And finally, Kingpin was one I was also really excited for, like Arcade Pool. But there is not as much *depth* in the gameplay as there is in Pool; in Pool everything can be done deliberately. In this, that moving arrow kind of just ruins the whole point of what would have been a skill-like bowling game.
Also, the quietness of the Bowling game is strange. No music with very quiet spoken lines (apparently, so I've read in the Discord, but I didn't hear any). It's just disappointing.
So yeah, was not impressed by the final games of this collection, but that's okay. Except for the two fighting games, I liked the rest of the games that came before, so it was a good collection overall! :)
Games Played (with their Timestamps):
1. Alien Breed: Tower Assault (1:45)
2. ATR: All Terrain Racing (15:01)
