Big box set put out in 1996. Initially the starter sets of this collectable dice sold well. Eventually, TSR produced too many and ended up with excessive inventory unsold. This problem was part of the reason for TSR’s collapse.

History repeats itself - similar story for Atari and maybe now Funko.
