4I've owned this game for almost 2 years, I figure I should really try this game out finally! So welcome to this weekends Lets Try!
I'll get right to the point, I'm giving this game a easy 8/$10! Its my sort of game! Having grown up during the 90s playing lots of Tycoon games, they bring nostalgic feelings of years long gone.
Turmoil has a simple idea, get rich by building a oil empire! I do admit I think I've played through slightly less then half the game currently. Which means the game has about 6 hours of game play in the single player campaign, but there also seems to be a weekly map for people to compete over the highest score (I haven't tried my luck at it yet)
The game was also recently released onto IOS and personally this is one of those few games that I think would work well on a Ipad but has enough depth thats its also enjoyable on a PC!

Turmoil offers players a visually charming, tongue-in-cheek take on the simulation genre inspired by the 19th century oil rush in North America. Get a taste of the rush and rivalry of the time as you earn your way to become a successful oil entrepreneur. As you make money digging up and selling oil, the town will grow along with you.
History
Turmoil was in a prototype phase for a year before it entered Steam Early Access in June 2015. After spending exactly one year there, Turmoil was released succesfully for PC's in June 2016. In February 2017 Turmoil was also released on iOS, exclusively for iPad.
