1) Update the Snapchat app to the latest version
2) Open Snapchat and login to your account
3) On the home page, make sure you are on the snap screen
4) Simply make sure your object is placed in front of you
5) Now tap on the Plus icon on the top right
6) Scroll down and tap on Focus
7) Tap on the object you want to focus and the background will be automatically blurred
8) This way, you will have turned on portrait mode on Snapchat
