Bad die rolls make for great and memorable game moments. It gives the Dungeon Master and/or the players a chance to have fun with the role-playing and narrative. It also make for unexpected outcomes on both sides of the GM Screen. Many of our best gaming stories come from really good or really bad d20 rolls. So next time you critical fumble instead of getting mad, have fun. Use it to increase everyone's fun at the gaming table. Remember it's only a game and if your character dies you get roll up the next epic hero in whatever rpg system you are using.
