7th PB. Very solid run, finally got the Primagen quick kill. Overal not quite as strong as the previous pb 4712 down the back half but that monster time save at the end sealed it. At the moment I kinda feel like trying to improve it but we'll see. Can safely say I don't think 45 is achievable outside of new tech being found.

For the fast Primagen trigger I found a new timing method the night before which proved to be really consistent for me. Have a stopwatch ready and start timing as you fall off the edge. The exact moment should be the instant you feel Turok has no ground underneath him. For reference if you pause the video and frame advance it till livesplit says 44:46.69, that is a good approximation of where I start timing. Press forward+jump simultanuously the moment the timer says 2:06.8. If successful you'll trigger the cutscene barely half a second after these inputs. Idk why but I had enormous success all of a sudden when I found this, to where I was able to get it 6 times in a row in practice, and 1st time the next day as a quick practice before the stream.

For Lair bellslide I like to stand in front of the boulder and directly behind the talisman pad as I think those extra few feet make the timings more rounded to whole seconds. Hold up+right+jump and use a stopwatch again and start timing when gameover appears on screen, at 1 second switch to up+left (and releasing jump), start holding crouch at 2, release crouch at 5, release left at 6. By just releasing left at the end Turok is flying forward into the archway/gate, brushing past it at a diagonal angle and into the portal. I believe this is more consistent than trying to time a right direction after 6 seconds, or worse a backup set of inputs after missing the portal, as time is not on your side.
