Peroxide ( main ingredient of plastic bleaching products) will do more damage to your console case than only sunlight with UV! Dr Pickett in 2004:

- The reason why de-yellowing works outside in the day light is because to visible light at the blue/violet end of the visible spectrum and not UV! Here is a study from the same expert Dr Pickett in 2004 (also mentioned in the linked video):
