My longest video yet, and one of the smaller file size ones too.

This is a tutorial on how to use the DVD Decrypter and Handbrake programs together, to produce video files that you can play on your computer.

First you use DVD Decrypter to archive your DVD onto your computer. You can use media programs to play this archive like you would a regular DVD, if you like. But it is also pretty big (the full size of the DVD).

You can then convert that DVD archive into a video file using Handbrake. You can change options depending on your desires, and your intentions with the program. Subs can be hard coded on the file, or left off if you wish, or you can simply use a subtitle file you can find on the internet, from sites such as Sub source. I also included a short sequence for people that would prefer using soft subs.

BTW: You may want to select the decomb option on Handbrake to fix problems with interlaced sources. Supposedly, having it on all the time will not generally cause problems even with progressive sources.

I also have to apologize for the part where nothing is accomplished, I was going to show the alternative program, but I couldn't find it in a reasonable amount of time, oh well.
