TVR Speed 12 in Racing Games | Mad Lad!
My first video showcasing a TVR in racing games, the Speed 12. The most extreme car that TVR has pumped out. It started out as a prototype that never got put into production, from what I've heard; it's because the head of TVR test drove it and found it too scary. Which makes sense as the car was powered by a screaming 7.7L V12 giving 800 hp, but didn't have any assists.
I could be getting that mixed up with another car though. TVR then moved the Speed 12 to being based on the Cerbera. The Cerbera Speed 12 is probably the version people know more about as this one was the only Speed 12 placed in racing games from the 6th Generation of consoles and onwards.

Notes:
- I initially thought of separating the Speed 12 and Cerbera Speed 12 into different videos since they're a bit different. I changed my mind however since I decided to shorten the footage I use per game.
- Gathering footage for the Speed 12s was a major pain, mainly because I had to go search for more Toca games that I didn't own. I found Toca RD1 to be a pain especially as it would lag on my emulator, I had to reduce the resolution to get a better frame rate.
- I nearly gave up on recording Toca RD1 due to not having access to a gamesave with the Speed 12 (the only one I found initially was on gamefaqs and was for the UK version, which I couldn't find). However at last minute, I found a gamesave for DTM Race Driver (which I had an iso for) and was able to use that.
- I couldn't record PGR2 due to not having it unlocked, I couldn't figure out how to transfer original xbox gamesaves from PC to Xbox 360 (the tutorials I found were poor), and I'm just not skilled enough at this game to get platinum trophies.
- R: Racing Evolution got left out, because it's on the PAL version only (I have NTSC) and I couldn't find an iso of the PAL version anywhere.
- If I ever managed to get access to the Cerbera Speed 12 on those games and Race Drive Grid, I'll make an updated version of this video. For now, this is it.
- I was shocked that I was able to actually get a clean lap in on Gran Turismo 2 without even doing any tuning, I usually suck at driving the Speed 12 in this game.
