In Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, it's possible to skip Spore Spawn (a scary plant boss) and still acquire the Super Missile expansion behind his lair.

In order to perform this trick, you will need to acc ess early Super Missiles. Here's one way to get Super Missiles before fighting Spore Spawn. - https://youtu.be/0rpPkw_77UQ

To access the rooms behind Spore Spawn, perform the Crystal Flash technique inside the access tunnel that is blocked by a Super Missile panel. To perform the Crystal Flash technique, you will need empty Reserve Tanks, less than fifty energy, ten missiles, ten Super Missiles, and eleven Power Bombs.Roll up into Morph Ball form, highlight the Power Bombs, then hold L, R, Down, and Y (I use the Y button to shoot, but depending on your control setup, you may have to press different inputs).

The Crystal Flash technique will replenish your energy fully, but more importantly, it will place Samus in a crouched position, allowing her to shoot Super Missiles from inside that small tunnel. Then, you can blast that Super Missile panel and access the rooms behind Spore Spawn.

Alternatively, by standing at a very specific pixel then jumping and shooting a Super Missile into the tunnel, Samus can blow away the Super Missile panel.

What are some other weird tricks in old games you know about? I want to make more of these quick shorts, so leave a comment to suggest more glitches, Easter Eggs, and weird things!
