In Mega Man for the Nintendo Entertainment System, there's an easy trick you can perform to quickly dispatch the Yellow Devil boss. It's called the Pause Trick, and it allows you to hit a target multiple times with only one shot from your weapon.

The trick is easiest with the Thunder Shock ability (Elec Man's power), because it's a large projectile that moves relatively slowly. To perform the glitch, simply pause the game with the Select button as your projectile makes contact with your target. Then, unpause and immediately re-pause the game. If performed correctly, your target will have been damaged twice by the same projectile. If your timing is right, you can hit the same enemy many times with just one projectile by pausing and unpausing in tempo.

The Pause Trick makes the Yellow Devil fight much easier, so this particular example is one of the primary uses of the glitch. Thanks, Capcom!

What are some other weird tricks in old games you know about? I want to make more of these quick shorts, so leave a comment to suggest more glitches, Easter Eggs, and weird things!
