Continuing with the correcting options for typewriters, this is a demonstration of all the manual options for correcting mistakes.

Seeing as everything here except the whiteout was probably at least 30yrs, old these didn't work as well as I would have liked. Although the Ko-Rec-Type tabs were flawless and very easy to use. It's a shame they didn't come out sooner, well after self correcting typewriters like the Correcting Selectric II were out.

These demonstrations were all shot before I had the two Smith Corona Typewriters I showed in the intro. Despite the flaws in the typewriters I chose, I wouldn't have used them anyway. I wanted to show this on typewriters with no correcting abilities what so ever.

The IBM Executive is a very unusual typewriter with it's proportional letter spacing. It adds a challenge to correcting that none of the other typewriters have. But the resulting text should look impeccable, at least when it is running well. Mine could use a little work.

The copy through setting is confusing. The manual I have has different labels for the settings and claims the first setting should be able to produce 4 copies and each addition setting adds 3 more. That would mean it could make 19 copies at once with 37 individual sheets all stacked up in the platen. That would be equivalent to nearly the entire booklet of Erasable Bond paper that I showed. And I don't think I could cram that in there.
