Ok so I finally get to try this game out.

Sorry this is an exceptionally long video, but I really wanted to give this game a fair shot, and I'm glad I did because it really took me a few tries to get the hang of playing this game. Its difficult and unforgiving, and there is a lot of early access hassle. Anyway, you should feel free to skip around the video.

After the video I actually did find out where to tweak the grip strength issues I had throughout the game -- it seems in OpenXR games a lot of the control settings are moved around and the labels changed (for some reason) and it took me a while to find them, especially since I tried to fix things while in game and it just bugged the controls out. Now that I've had time to sit down and poke around, you can indeed change the grip settings. So that's a good thing. But the issue with you being teleported back when you get close to objects remains a constant irritation.

I think there is a lot going on here, and a lot of work that yet remains to be done, but its a game I'm going to be following with interest.
