Ubisoft Continues To Ruin Their Image With Assassin's Creed Infinity - Who Asked For This Garbage?
Ubisoft has recently announced the next Assassin's Creed title which is due out for release sometime between 2023-2024 and the announcement couldn't be more backwards in the scale of excitement or just overall excitement in general. "Assassin's Creed Infinity" as they're calling it is supposed to be some kind of live service title similar to Fortnite or Destiny where the developers support the project for several years with continuous patches and updates.
The problem with this is that it's clearly multiplayer focused for all the wrong reasons and Ubisoft is not a company that's proven in the past that they care about the consumer. This is clearly a business decision that the company has made in order to attract as wide an audience as possible and monetize this IP through a lazy MMO.
Guess the original ideas at Ubisoft has finally run their course, although it's not as if this series wasn't already ruined years ago.
