As it turns out, giving everything on your board +2/2 as a passive aura is pretty good. Finishing Kurtrus' questline gives you the Greybough hero power on steroids, and if mechs are in the game, Kurtrus' hero power really excels. This is a game where I DIDN'T get a refresh-build going early enough; In fact, I didn't really get a traditional build throughout this run. I tried to focus on scaling stats while looking for a Lightfang, but when that didn't happen early enough, I was just trying to survive to get top 4. The results of this game genuinely surprised me and taught me the importance of scaling stats, however you can.
