Uldir - Heroic: Zul, Reborn - Live Servers (Boss Voice/Sound, Guide in Description)
I will assume you're familiar with the encounter on normal. This fight is all about phase timing.
Of the two new abilities Pool of Darkness is easy enough to deal with, just have ranged DPS or healers keep their eyes open and hop in the obvious red pools when they appear.
The Bloodhexxers will now heal Zul and all enemies for 5% max HP per second while within 20 yards of each other. I suggest for the first two waves CC-ing both (Hex from shamans is good for this since it won't break on damage easily but any humanoid CC will do) then death gripping one into the boss. If you don't have a death knight you can walk them in too. It's very bad on heroic to have Bloodshard casts go off as someone can easily die so CC is safest. When they get to 100 energy stun their congeal blood cast so you don't have to deal with ichors.
Kill priority for adds should be Crawgs then Bloodhexxers then Crushers. You'll be wasting a lot of damage on the crawgs if you don't kill them fast and they die quickly. Bloodhexxers will eventually go stun immune if not killed. Crushers are only dangerous when two are up, make sure your tank pulls them out at 80 energy or so.
It worked better for us to keep bloodlust for phase 2. It might seem nice to get to phase 2 with less stacks but this fight is all about phasing cleanly with no adds to kill and the clean phase window we were using didn't require bloodlust to hit, in fact we had to stop dps. Phase 2 does an absolutely monstrous amount of damage to your tanks so ending it fast and using lots of tank CDs and externals seems the surest route to success.
To phase cleanly, hard CC both Bloodhexxers in the third wave at 3m20s into the fight and keep them CC'd for the rest of the encounter. Do not let them break or you'll have to deal with ichors. Once those Bloodhexxers are CC'd you can phase cleanly either just before the third Crusher spawn at 3m30s or just before the fourth Bloodhexxer spawn at 4m0s. We found the second one easier to hit with our dps and more forgiving with add timing. You will likely have to stop DPS on Zul so that you phase just before either of those spawns, with all other adds dead or dying.
With a clean phase with no adds up except the permanently CC'd Bloodhexxers phase 2 should die quickly with lust. The people soaking pools should use lots of personals/healthstone/health pot to keep themselves up during Deathwish.
The tank debuff in phase 2 is monstrously damaging, but you can get relief from it with a Blessing of Protection from a paladin since it's physical damage. It will immediately spawn the big blood pool, so have your tank get out and then call for BoP.
What we found best for death wish was to dispel one immediately, use healing CDs and mass dispel (Or arcane torrent if you have it) on the resultant adds, then dispel the final death wish just before they jump (unless it's Ssinzz then let him die.) Positioning is important here, make sure you won't run in front of Zul if you get Death Wish (you run to the nearest edge) so you don't get the tank DoT and spawn a giant blood pool.
You could also phase cleanly just before the bloodhexxers at 3m10s and hard CC wave 2, if your dps was higher than ours.
