Ultimate Kid Chameleon - My First Attempt!
133Well, this is it... the video of my first attempt and initial reactions to playing Ultimate Kid Chameleon (UKC).
First words I gotta say, it was much harder than I expected. I probably would have Game Over'd this attempt, had it not been for the huge influx of lives and continues, which is what makes the game quite manageable, despite its difficulty. My favorite level out of this whole thing was probably Evil Isle I, because it took me like more than 10 lives to get through it. I thought it was so funny how there's helmets everywhere in the level, when the easiest way all along was to just carry out the process with Kid. One thing I really liked was I felt that all the theme color changes were 100% appropriate, as well as the ge-...diamond changes XD I have a couple questions to ask Skarloey, like how many levels I bypassed in that run, because I'd definitely like to visit them all, especially if it was a Sky level. The Sky palette change was my personal favorite, and I wish I found more than one of the levels. Also wondering where Juggernaut was in this UKC play through... I wasn't able to locate a single helmet and see what his new palette looked like :/ Oh well. Regardless, this remake of Kid Chameleon was totally worth the play through... I formally congratulate you mah friend!!
So here you go, Skarloey, I know you're glad that I finally got around to my first play through, and I'm also glad you and Tyadran got your differences all patched up, because I really enjoyed all the stuff you guys made together..... really enjoying this last KCX update. Can't wait for your next monster creation! }:)
UKC is a project developed by Skarloey, whose main goal is to make a totally awesome, epic, and well-deserved sequel to the original Kid Chameleon. All credits go to Skarloey for the creation of this remake of the game, as well as any other individuals who designed the programs he utilized to make this possible (K-E, KidTool, XVI32, LunarIPS, whatever emulator and ROM he uses, original KC developers, etc.)
