Ultimate Spider-Man is easily one of the most popular comics to ever come out of Marvel. It took the world by storm in the early 2000s by being what seemed like a fresh and modernized take on Peter Parker's origin and early stories from the 60s Lee and Ditko run, and most spidey adaptations to this day continue to use its ideas in their own stories!

Unfortunately, not everything from Ultimate has aged well, and today we're going to be talking about one of the worst offenders: Ultimate Venom.

Sure, the video game version might be pretty awesome, but the comic counterpart to Ultimate Eddie Brock is genuinely one of the worst things the run did wrong.
