I do own the original version and still own it, but this certainly makes it more fun to play as it makes it easier to play and just all around more fun and not nearly as punishing, and removes the necessity for the "soft reset". I would like to be able to at some point play it coop but at present, just single player.

True story, whenever I would see my brother and cousin playing the game, they were always into level two by the time I saw them, so I had never seen level 1 and was kinda stuck on it as a kid. Mostly because of the semi hurdle of how the mid boss and stage boss don't take damage easily, to some extent.

The only real tricky part of hitting Juggernaut in the head is how small the arena is compared to the second time you face him and thus have a easier time making him stop faster and strike.

Each stage is a "semi" labyrinth, requiring some level of puzzle solving and key finding to progress, making them fairly distinctive and not pure straight shots. The game is only six stages long, but is over fairly quickly once you know what to do and how to navigate, and how to beat each boss. Nightcrawler is fairly tricky to really use well, at least for me for some reason with his jumps and teleporting.
