NOTE: I apologise for the inconsistent audio. I have forgotten to shut off the omni microphone on my close up camcorder which caused the difference in sound levels and delay between my main mic and the omni mic. Luckily I did not use the close up camera throughout on on my switcher, so it is not annoying throughout.

In this special 'All Things 3D' update I review the Samsung Note 7 as well as compare it to the Google Nexus 6 and 6P, as well as well as to the iPhone 6s Plus.

I also look at the new Gear VR and in my opinion really not that much of an upgrade over the previous version, but still manages to correct few things, like not using the more reflective, white scheme and going with a navy blue color scheme, slightly larger lenses and an easier to work with control scheme. I also visually compare it the previous model, as well as to the BoboVR and my own NEODiVR uPLAy.

Overall I am happy to make the Note 7 my new phone with more to report on Friday when I compare versions of the Gear VR "Sun Temple" demo app to the Google VR "Sun Temple" demo app as well as few other tests.
