Hi guys, it's Rubhen here with another video, and this time it's for the Way of the Warrior trophy in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
To earn this trophy you will need to go from the start of the game to the start of Chapter 5; The Great Battle without using guns or explosives. Guys this sounds really tough, but it's actually more glitchy than anything else.
In this video I show my run on explorer difficulty. yes I know many of you will be like oh look he's doing it on easy. Well actually i wanted to make it a challenge and tried this on crushing 2 times and hard once. I never died, never restarted checkpoints, and did the entire thing in stealth, and no trophy. It turns out you need to start a new game without transferring over stats and previous data. Well thanks ND, because that wasn't a waste of time at all.
I got really annoyed and just breezed through the enemy encounters here by just punching them.
In the video I showcase the most optimal path to finishing the levels quickly, and I also skip all the cutscenes and unnecessary stuff to not waste you time. All I show is the gameplay from the beginning till the start of chapter 5 to unlock the trophy. It was also my last trophy so my platinum unlocked. Yay
So let's talk about the trophy itself, here are a couple things to keep in mind:
1) Start a new game and make sure to say no to transfer over data and previous stats.
2) Never fire your gun, so move your finger away from the R2 button. Also never use explosives either. So no R1 button either.
3) You are allowed to aim you gun and mark enemies to make it easier for you to navigate around and stealth through sections if you want.
4) Nadine is allowed to shoot, so if you get into combat, don't worry, just spam square to punch enemies out, and press triangle when you need to counter.
5) You can play on explorer and unlock the trophy, and i recommend it as enemies have less health, filed of vision, and their suspicion meter fills up less quickly.
6) Many reports say that you can restart checkpoints, and many say that the trophy glitches if you do. So I would advise to be as safe as possible and not die at all if you can. Good luck on that
7) If enemies die by their own grenades and explosive gas canisters, this trophy will not unlock. So be extra careful in those situations. So I would advise stealth over a full frontal confrontation, but in my case I just went in there and quickly punched my way out.
8) When you get to Chapter 4: The Western Ghats, you can pretty much skip the entire open world sutff, and just go to the 3 fortresses and move the levers to get the aqueducts running with water. No need to worry yourself with collectibles and the hoysala tokens and stuff.
9) The trophy will unlock once you reach the start of Chapter 5 during the cutscene.
