Our journey in the Orre Region with Wes and Rui (aka Weblomi and 8675309) in Pokemon Colosseum on the Nintendo GameCube continues! We've found ourselves in Pyrite Town and, after a strong stint of snagging Shadow Pokemon, we now need to uncover the seedy secrets that the colosseum and some of these townsfolk are involved in. Miror B seems to be at the root of this, but he is very much a mastermind hidden behind many, many layers of stooges. With our brand-new Shadow Pokemon alongside Espeon and Umbreon, we're well equipped to continue our investigation!
This is, in my opinion, one of the best Pokemon RPGs that Nintendo have ever brought out, and it's not even a mainline game! Double battles, Johto Pokemon, the ability to steal (or snag) Pokemon, and a story that leans much more into traditional JRPG themes and audiences made Pokemon Colosseum a certified GCN classic, and one that will never be forgotten. Hopefully the Nintendo Switch will be able to provide some kind of remake, remaster or even a sequel to this game and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness... one can hope, hey!
In this video, we'll be speaking to Cail at the town entrance for a little bit of intel, and recovering the gear that Silva stole from the Pyrite Mill. We'll also be embarking on a bit of a gauntlet - the Pyrite Colosseum. 4 rounds of pretty strong trainers, with the hopes of getting a "special" Pokemon as a reward. I think we know what that means... and I think we know how Miror B is distributing these Shadow Pokemon running amok in Pyrite. Shadow Pokemon... Pokemon designed to have their heart sealed and attack humans...? This seems dangerous - we need to help them, as well as uplift Pyrite as soon as we can. Let's see how today's episode goes!
