In this episode of Undertale (pacifist route), we enter Snowdin, just after leaving Toriel behind. Julius is still at level 1, having attacked no one. But now the challenge is no longer to avoid damage: it's to distinguish when a smile hides something else.
Sans jokes around. Papyrus seems clumsy. But are they allies... or just pretending to be?
In this pacifist route, where the goal is not to cause harm, there is a new enemy: mistrust.
The chat accompanies me in every decision. And although I'm still armed with only a stick, this story already weighs more than any combat.
