Continuing our Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 Beginner's Guide series, we are taking a look at the Allied Multigunner Infantry Fighting Vehicle: IFV are versatile multi-purpose early-game transport, harassment unit, infantry counter, and ground-based anti-air vehicle. Their rockets do little damage, but can break walls. Their fast movement makes them suitable for smuggling a variety of infantries (especially when shrunken), and chasing after aircrafts for AA. Their special ability is to eject their passenger, speaking of which...

IFV can combo with any infantry unit in the game, and receives a special attachment / weapon depending on who is piloting it. This allows potential strategy surrounding IFV: Peacekeeper gives IFV a rapid-fire shotgun; Engineer lets IFV repair friendly vehicles; Spy gives IFV a sniper rifle that one-shots any infantry; Tanya gets easy passage into the heart of a base; Cryo Legionnaire IFV is unstoppable against air & ground; Tank Buster IFV's laser cannon wipes out any armored units in sight; Yuriko IFV is the deadliest team-game rush comp in 2v2...
