Today Unity have just announced a renewed focus on game development and this unfortunately includes laying off 3.8% of its work force. Those layoffs however are almost entirely in Weta Digital, the Peter Jackson founded digital effects house that Unity purchased in 2021 for a whopping 1.6 BILLION dollars.
