Unlock & Attack with New Troops Debt collector | Clash of Clan
"Greedy fingers! The Debt Collector targets resource Buildings and loots way more than a regular Goblin. Additional Loot is not taken from the Defender, rather, it is generated by the Debt Collector himself!"
The Debt Collector is a temporary troop introduced in the Dark Deal event. He can be unlocked after accumulating 100 Goblin Cash in the event.
The Debt Collector acts as a variant of the Goblin. He is slow and frail, but when damaging resource buildings, he loots twice as much compared to other units. More precisely, he takes twice as much loot for each unit of damage dealt compared to other sources.
For example, if each point of damage on a Gold Storage yields 100 Gold when taken by any other means, the Debt Collector will instead yield 200 Gold for every point of damage dealt.
Any extra loot obtained by the Debt Collector is newly generated by the game. The defender will not lose any more loot than they had available (if they stand to lose any loot at all). For example, if in a Multiplayer Battle a Gold Storage has 200,000 Gold available and a Debt Collector fully destroys it, the attacker gains 400,000 Gold but the defender only loses 200,000 Gold.
The Debt Collector's loot bonus does not apply to Goblin Cash; if attacking a building containing Goblin Cash, no extra is awarded.
When attacking the Town Hall or Clan Castle, these buildings only give double loot if a Debt Collector makes the finishing blow. If a Debt Collector partially damages the building but it is destroyed by other means, no bonus is awarded.
Debt Collectors prioritize resource buildings above all other targets, and will bypass all other types of enemy buildings and troops while any resource buildings remain on the battlefield. This is true even if they are under attack by enemy Clan Castle troops, heroes or Skeleton Trap skeletons. Note that like all troops that prioritize resources, Debt Collectors consider the Clan Castle and the Town Hall to be resource buildings regardless of whether or not they contain loot and whether or not the Town Hall's weapon (if any) is activated; Debt Collectors will preferentially target them, and damage bonuses on resource buildings will also apply.
Once all resource buildings are destroyed, Debt Collectors become like any other troop with no preferred target; they will attack the nearest building to them regardless of type, and will turn and attack enemy units if they become aware of any nearby and can fight back against them.
