Unlocking Selbstlader 1906 Battlefield V | Showing How To Complete Mechanized Brawl | Destroy 1 Tank
1In this video, I show how I went about completing the newest tides of war update week 3 challenge, Mechanized Brawl. To complete this challenge, you must destroy 1 tank. Naturally, you get 30,000 overture chapter xp as a reward.
Based on where this challenge node is located on the tree, you actually unlock the Selbstlader 1906 as well. Selbstlader is a Recon gun. It is described as the same toggle-lock mechanism used on the German P08 pistol was also used for a smi-automatic rifle. The design was a success but only a few prototypes were ever built. I've played with this gun and it's the best recon gun in BFV in my opinion (that I've tried).
Although a tank may seem like an unstoppable force, there is always aw ay to bring down any opponent with a coordinated attack. Normally, I'd suggest that you don't immediately go into the tides of war playlist since some maps are less tank-heavy than others. However, I tried doing this challenge prior using the advanced search feature and I tried playing on Panzerstorm. Unfortunately the tides of war challenge was not tracking in the in game menu for some reason. It's weird cuz some challenges I've done work using the advanced searched feature / not playing in the tides of war playlist. To be safe, try the tides of war playlist. I completed the challenge at around ~ 20:45 of the video playing as the assault class with an anti-vehicle loadout.
