Unreal Engine 5 Blockades – Unlock With Quests & Currency
In this tutorial, I show how to create old-school blockades in Unreal Engine 5, just like in classic games such as Animaniacs, SpongeBob, or Grand Theft Auto. These blockades prevent access to areas until specific conditions are met—such as completing a quest or gathering enough currency.
You'll learn how to:
✔ ️ Set up the blockade system
✔ ️ Enable & disable blockades dynamically
✔ ️ Unlock areas via quests
✔ ️ Unlock areas based on currency
This technique is great for open-world games, platformers, and adventure games that require progression-based restrictions. Let me know what you think in the comments!
